I’m participating in NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month), writing a poem a day for the month of April and posting it here on my blog to share. Go to NaPoWriMo.net for more details and to view many more participating poets. I did not follow prompts, but decided to share some laughs with the world. Each poem this month is silly, goofy, or fun just to bring you a smile and a little joy, which we can all use more of.
Grandmother’s Heart
My grand kids came to visit me and filled me, heart and soul
Filled me to the brim and more, so very, very full
Their smiles are contagious, their laughter a delight
I love you dear sweet grandchild, with all of my might
