Here we go again! Except instead of a personal challenge, this is actually a competition. I entered the The 100-word Microfiction Challenge 2023 through NYC Midnight.
At midnight on April 28, 2023 I’ll receive my assignment which will be a specific genre, action and a word that all must be incorporated in the story. I’ll have 24 hours to write, edit, and submit my original 100 word short story. The top 15 move into the next round and do it again with a different assignment. There are prizes for the winners of the third and final round. I don’t expect to make it to the end, but I’m excited to stretch my imagination and writing skills.
