No Words Poem

Home » Blog » No Words Poem

I’ve been participating in NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month), writing a poem a day for the month of April and posting it here on my blog to share. Go to NaPoWriMo.net for more details and to view many more participating poets. I did not follow prompts, but decided to share some laughs with the world. Each poem this month is silly, goofy, or fun just to bring you a smile and a little joy, which we can all use more of.

No Words

Last day of poetry month
Withering writers hands unfold
One more leap
One more push
Once more praying inspiration comes
Thinking, typing, delete again
One last poem before month ends

Wracking brain
Frustration
Fatigue
Nothing flowing
No words to weave
This is it
The moment’s come
Sleepless night
Sun is rising
Inspiration?
None forthcoming
